“We are Gonna Rely on that Squad Depth” - Veart

While it was a night of nearly for Adelaide United, the 2-2 draw gave head coach, Carl Veart, a realisation; this title charge was going to take everyone.

“It’s gonna take a full squad this year to have success,” Veart stated post game.

On a grueling summer night in Adelaide, Veart was quick to signal the success of the players of the bench.

“All season the guys that have come off the bench have had impact. It takes the full squad to win games.

“It was tough game tonight, unfortunately we played their brand of football more so then our brand of football.”

In particular, Veart sung the praises of young guns Archie Goodwin and Yaya Dukuly

“Archie [Goodwin] scored twice, Yaya [Dukuly] set one up, it was good for those guys.”

“We will recover from this game first and then the boys will have a week off and we will get ready for Sydney.

The Reds face Sydney FC on the 1st of February.
