Valtteri Bottas and Cadillac F1 Team

“Yes,” that was Valtteri Bottas’ one word answer to being asked if has any interest in joining the new boys in Cadillac in 2026.

Not only did the Finnish driver confirm interest from his end, but he confirmed that communication was a two way street, stating, “we are talking,” in relation to himself and the American constructor.

Bottas is now a reserve driver for Mercedes, where he raced alongside Lewis Hamilton during the silver arrows’ incredible dominance.

For Bottas, the dream is still to return to F1, upon being dropped last year from Stake F1 Kick Sauber, Bottas said that he “knew he wasn’t done yet.”

Now that it has been confirmed that there is at least talks between Bottas and Cadillac, and it appears that we may see the Fin back on the grid in 2026.
