Cameron fastest across Practice sessions

Aaron Cameron was the fastest across two practice sessions at Albert Park on Thursday morning, as Blanchard Racing continued their strong start to the new year.

At Sydney Motorsport Park, they looked quick, as both Aaron Cameron and James Golding found their way onto the podium across the weekend.

In the first session, Jayden Ojeda’s last lap was excellent for PremiAir Racing, a 1.47.88 nearly a second faster than Anton De Pasquale, before Ford dominated the list down to 11.

Rylan Gray was third, championship leader Broc Feeney was eighth, while the Tickford boys of Thomas Randle and Cam Waters were seventh and ninth.

After a shaky practice one, Aaron Cameron returned Blanchard Racing to its new home at the top of the timing charts.

His 1.47.81 was the fastest across all sessions, three-tenths faster than practice two’s second fastest car, piloted by rookie Zach Bates.

Bates’ Camaro was the only Chevrolet inside the top 10, with Ford again starting to stretch its dominance as it did in session one.

Practice was halted early when Jayden Ojeda went from hero to zero, colliding heavily with the wall at turn five to bring out the red flag and, eventually, cancel the session.
